Licensing

Dolls of two children on a beach, peeking upside down between their legs (the work “Peeking Between the Legs (Matanozoki)”)

Bring the smiles of those days into your next project.

This page explains licensing for Showa no Kodomotachi (Children of the Showa Era), including the use of photographs of the works and merchandising. The copyright belongs to Atelier Michiko Corporation.

We license Showa no Kodomotachi for projects that respect the world of the works—such as publishing photographs of the works in books and exhibition catalogs, regional promotion, and merchandise based on the doll designs.

Licensing to third parties is a new initiative that we are now beginning in earnest. We handle each request carefully, one at a time, according to your needs.
