Entrusting the handling of personal information to others to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use, or providing personal information in connection with the succession of a business through a merger or the like, does not constitute provision to a third party as described here.

When we provide personal data to a third party in a foreign country (including when we entrust its handling), we will either obtain your consent in advance or confirm that the recipient has established a system that meets the standards set by the rules of the Personal Information Protection Commission. In the latter case, we will regularly check the recipient’s measures and, upon request, inform you of them.

5. Entrusting the Handling of Personal Information

We entrust part of our operations, such as running and maintaining this website, to outside contractors. We select contractors carefully and supervise them so that personal information is managed securely.

6. Security Control Measures

We take necessary and appropriate security control measures to prevent the leakage, loss or damage of the personal information entrusted to us.

We receive and store the contents of our contact form using Gmail, the email service of Google Workspace provided by Google LLC (United States of America). Under its contract with us, Google handles the data only within the scope of our instructions. Because Google stores data in data centers in multiple countries, we cannot specify the country where the servers storing the data are located. We take security control measures with an understanding of the personal information protection systems of the United States of America.

If you contact us through “9. Contact Point” below, we will tell you about these measures without delay.

7. Cookies, Analytics and Preventing Fraudulent Submissions

  • This website uses Google Tag Manager, provided by Google LLC (United States of America), to run tools that measure site traffic. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you view and the actions you take. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
  • On the pages of this website that have forms, we use reCAPTCHA, provided by Google LLC (United States of America), to prevent spam and misuse. To determine whether an action is performed by a person, reCAPTCHA sends information such as your IP address, information about your device and browser, and cookies to Google. We use reCAPTCHA under a contract between Google and the contractor to which we entrust the operation of this website (see “5. Entrusting the Handling of Personal Information”). Under that contract, Google may handle this information only as necessary to provide and maintain reCAPTCHA and to keep its ability to detect fraud and abuse effective, and may not use it for any other purpose, such as advertising.

8. Requests for Disclosure and Other Actions

If you or your representative request notification of the purposes of use of your personal information, its disclosure (including disclosure of records of provision to third parties), correction of, addition to or deletion of its contents, suspension of its use or its erasure, or suspension of its provision to third parties, we will confirm that the request comes from you (or, for a representative, that they are authorized to act for you) and respond without delay in accordance with the law. For how to make a request, please contact us through “9. Contact Point” below.

To confirm your identity, we will contact you at the email address or phone number you gave us when you contacted us or on a similar occasion.
